At the age of 11, Rava left her island home of Mo’orea in French Polynesia to travel the world.
She embarked on a journey that took her from France to Costa Rica, China, Hawaii, and New York among many other places.
During her travels she worked as a professional dancer, an interpreter for French, Mandarin, and Spanish, and a seamstress for Vera Wang in New York City before returning to her home land where she began to model and fashion her own jewelry.
Since then, she was named the “stingray queen” by Daily Mail for her risky underwater modeling and has featured her jewelry designs in New York and Honolulu Fashion Week. Her work was also recognized in Vogue UK and has been worn by public figures such as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
She now juggles her time between Oahu and Tahiti as a model, photographer, and jewelry designer.
