This season you’ll find me in the Reva Tahiti Magazine. In the magazine you’ll find as well Beatrice LeGayic, the president of an association that aims to perpetuate Tifaifai. You’ll also read about Virginie Biret, the eldest of the ladies still practicing the art. I have the pleasure of seeing both of them at the Tifaifai salon which occurs every year in April in Papeete.

I feel proud to be representing Tifaifai alongside these women who paved the way for me to make a career out of this art form (especially on a platform that has an international reach). They’re one of the reasons Tifaifai is still alive today and I thank them for continuing to inspire me and other artists.
